Gâteau au chocolat :: Classic Chocolate Cake [Video]

Image
It is raining gently today. It's dark, so I feel like I'm sinking into a depressed mode for some reason. In times like these, a piece of sweet cake often helps. Living in a remote country where only 6 buses pass a day, I can't go out right away to eat a piece of cake. It's my lifestyle to be self-sufficient with just the ingredients I have at home. Of course, the body is also one body with the sofa, but at times like this, the more you move, the less depressed you become. I want to move quickly. "Gâteau au chocolat" means chocolate cake. Unlike sponge cake, the texture is dense. If you use dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, you can meet the high-end taste that is bittersweet. I like sweet rather than too bitter, so I used the 54.5% Callebaut 811 product. It's not an insanely sweet cake, and it's not burdensome to eat one piece of cake with a lazy afternoon coffee. Whip the whipped cream lightly and squeeze it, put the cherries that have been s

Subway Chocolate chip Cookies // copycat recipe

Do you like chocolate chip cookies?

There are tons of recipes for chocolate chip cookies.
Chocolate chip cookies look pretty simple when you look at the ingredients. However, if you continue to bake, you will encounter cookies with various textures even with small differences.

Today, it is a large and moderate thickness that you can meet at Subway, crispy on the outside and soft but chewy on the inside.
It is a delicious cookie that can enjoy various textures.
The making process is also not difficult. Just mix and bake.
However, the important thing is not to dissolve too much sugar.
If the sugar melts a lot, it will spread too much and you will get flat cookies.
Let's get started.

Ingredients

Subway capycat Chocolate Chip Cookies (about 12 ea cookies) 113 g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened 1 egg (room temperature) 120 g (1/2 cup) tightly packed light brown sugar ( 8 Tbsp ) 30 g (2 Tbsp) granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 150 g(1+1/4 cup) all purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 150 g chocolate chips (* I used 100 g chocolate chips + 50 g dark chocolate.)

Soften room temperature unsalted butter.

Add room temperature eggs.

Mix with butter. At this time, if butter and eggs have different temperatures, they may separate like this.
But as it goes, there is no problem.

Add brown sugar and granulated sugar.

Check it out!
Mix to coat the sugar. Don't melt too much. The more the sugar melts, the more the cookies will spread.

Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and sift through a sieve.

Add chocolate chips. I used two types, large and small.

Lightly mix the batter and chocolate chips.
Do not over-mix.

Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator
and divide it into ice cream scoops.
You can also do it with a spoon. scoops.

There should be plenty of space between the dough balls.
Cookies will spread while baking.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes.

Baked cookies are still soft. Leave on pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

I don't think I need to go to Subway for cookies.

Check out the video to see the making process.
