   Is making buttercream difficult?  The answer is "no". 7 Minute Buttercream is all done in 7 minutes. You only need 4 ingredients. This is the American Buttercream variety and is sweet. When you need some sweetness, make this 7-Minute Buttercream right away. The amount given is enough to cover a 7-inch three-layer cake. This buttercream will keep for 1 week in the refrigerator and 2 months in the freezer. If you want to use it again, take it out of the refrigerator, leave it at room temperature, and when it becomes soft, whip it with a hand blender again.
