Gâteau au chocolat :: Classic Chocolate Cake [Video]

It is raining gently today. It's dark, so I feel like I'm sinking into a depressed mode for some reason. In times like these, a piece of sweet cake often helps. Living in a remote country where only 6 buses pass a day, I can't go out right away to eat a piece of cake. It's my lifestyle to be self-sufficient with just the ingredients I have at home. Of course, the body is also one body with the sofa, but at times like this, the more you move, the less depressed you become. I want to move quickly. "Gâteau au chocolat" means chocolate cake. Unlike sponge cake, the texture is dense. If you use dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, you can meet the high-end taste that is bittersweet. Potato Salad pocket Sandwich

I often wake up late on weekends.
My family is allowed to wake up late at least one day a week.
If I (Mom) get up late, other people are allowed. Hehe

I feel like a lazy mom today.
When I open the refrigerator, I see leftover raw vegetables.
Potatoes have sprouted quite a bit.
Potato salad sandwich this morning.
Fortunately, there is still bread left over from a few days ago.

1. Add water to 300 g of peeled potatoes, bring to a boil and cook. Prick it with a fork to make sure it is fully cooked.
Mash the potatoes with a fork while hot. If you like the chewy taste, you don't have to make it too fine.

2. Chop the vegetables finely. If you have raw ham, cut it together. Onions are essential.
Add the chopped vegetables and ham to the mashed potatoes.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
Add 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of mustard.
After mixing well, add salt to taste if desired.

4. After cutting the bread in half, cut a gap with a knife as if making a pocket.
Don't cut all the way through, as it needs to be blocked except for the entrance.

5. Squeeze a line of mayonnaise. -> Put in half a lettuce -> Fold in the sliced cheese and put in. -> Fill it with potato salad.
Add the ingredients and press gently with your hands as if attaching bread.
Do not add too much as it may tear the bread.
Potato Salad Sandwich is ready.
Bon appetite.
