Gâteau au chocolat :: Classic Chocolate Cake [Video]

Image
It is raining gently today. It's dark, so I feel like I'm sinking into a depressed mode for some reason. In times like these, a piece of sweet cake often helps. Living in a remote country where only 6 buses pass a day, I can't go out right away to eat a piece of cake. It's my lifestyle to be self-sufficient with just the ingredients I have at home. Of course, the body is also one body with the sofa, but at times like this, the more you move, the less depressed you become. I want to move quickly. "Gâteau au chocolat" means chocolate cake. Unlike sponge cake, the texture is dense. If you use dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, you can meet the high-end taste that is bittersweet. I like sweet rather than too bitter, so I used the 54.5% Callebaut 811 product. It's not an insanely sweet cake, and it's not burdensome to eat one piece of cake with a lazy afternoon coffee. Whip the whipped cream lightly and squeeze it, put the cherries that have been s...

Easy Oreo Chocolate Cupcakes

Do you like Oreos?

I've never seen anyone say "no" except for my husband. ☺

Today, I introduce cupcakes with Oreos.

Each cupcake has 2 Oreos. One is hiding inside a chocolate cake. Whoever eats this cupcake doesn't know there's another Oreo hiding inside.

Oreo crumbs are added to the cream to enhance the flavor of the Oreos.

I applied melted chocolate on top of the cream to give it a shape.

Let's start with easy and delicious Oreo Cupcakes.

Ingredients

1 tsp = 5 ml, 1 Tbsp = 15 ml, 1 cup = 240 ml
**The most ideal results are obtained when using metric measurements.
[For cupcakes]
1 Egg
100 g (1/2 cup)  granulated sugar
100 g of whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
70 g( 0.7 cup) cake flour
2 Tbsp (14 g) cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
6 Oreos

[For frosting]
300g whipping cream
30g of granulated sugar
3 Oreos

[For decoration]
6 Oreos
melted chocolate

First add all liquid ingredients to a bowl.
Whisk with a hand whisk for about 2 minutes.
An electric blender makes it even easier.

Add the powdered ingredients and mix thoroughly,
making sure there are no lumps.
Don't over-mix.
Cake batter is easily done.

Add Oreos one by one to cupcake molds.

Pour batter over Oreos.
At this time, fill only 70-80% of the mold.

Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Now let's make the cream.
Add sugar to whipped cream and whip until soft peaks.

After separating the cream from several Oreos, put only the cookies in a zip lock bag and crush it finely.

Add the cookie crumbs to the whipped cream earlier and mix.

Oreo whipped cream was easily completed.

Cut out the center of the cupcakes with a knife.
A cookie cutter makes this even easier.

Fill the empty space of the cupcake with the cream, squeeze out as much cream as you like.

Line a zigzag line with melted chocolate on top, and finally place Oreos one by one.

Check out the video of the making process.
